PlanningPoker.com  is a fantastic way to play planning poker with distributed teams.

This wonderful on-line tool is brought to us by Mike Cohn of Mountain Goat Software. Its is remarkably simple to use and free. One player creates a log-in account and once logged in creates a new game. A link is provided inside the game which can be emailed to the players who follow the link to join the game.

Game play is handled by very smooth AJAX programming and the cards appear and are called in true poker style. Once the game is finished a record of it can be downloaded in csv format. Everyone I've played this with from customer to developer is very impressed. Even when our team is together its great to take our laptops into the meeting room and play on-line for the sheer sake of it.
