This weekend I've released the first beta version of my new agile tool at CardConversationConfirmation.com.

Alright so it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue but it is precise. This is an agile tool that is centred on developing software with user stories or features. It is developed with a prime directive to follow the agile manifesto statement "individuals and interactions over processes and tools". This is vital to the success of this project as too many agile tools require processes and are a collection of myriad tools - for example setting up a project may require entering all sorts of data. So with CardConversationConfirmation.com you'll find that there is no set up and as little validation around the information you enter as possible. In this way this agile tool is designed to be as flexible as any user needs it to be. I think this is particularly important as from team to team there are usually subtle differences in methodology just as there are from person to person - an agile tool that demands everyone works in precisely the same way is sure to present an overhead to some degree and arguably isn't as agile as it might be.

It's simple to register - and completely FREE - just make up a user-name and password - enter your email address and company name - that's it. You'll receive an email confirming your registration immediately and it will contain a link for you to follow bringing you back to the site to activate your account - just a small security precaution. If your colleagues have already registered for the agile tool and you want to access the same data enter one of their user-names in the company field on the registration page instead of the company name and your colleague will be asked to validate your account as an added security precaution.

The first thing you are presented with once logged onto the agile tool is a request to enter your project name - you can create as many projects as you like. Then you create the first user story for that project - again as many as you like. Simple - then just start recording conversations and confirmations.

This is all you can do with this version of the agile tool - but soon I'll be adding Sprint Planning and Resource Management and also some simple reports. I'm also keen on making it possible to import data downloaded from PlanningPoker.com and also present stories in a form that can be loaded into the game.

If you do register but don't get around to using it just yet, I'll make sure I email you when new features are launched.

I hope this helps you!
